Let’s talk (frozen) precipitation…!
I am looking for advice on snow monitoring….
Never been much of an issue here in sunny Wallingford, but with a project looking at the hydrology of Scottish mountains, we need to make sure we do a good job of measuring snow and snow melt. The sites will be quite remote (by UK standards), so mains power will not be available. They are likely to be quite exposed, and snow will come and go, not lying for long.
Who uses what, and with what degree of success…?!
