In yesterdays international hydrometry group video meeting Dave showed yet another remote controlled boat for ADCPs.

Have anyone heard of more than these ones?

        Besides the above mentioned once:

I just found out that there is another company that sells remote controlled boat for ADCPs and even ADCPs(!) from Sweden.

        Main page:

        Boat:

        ADCPs:

        HydroFlow Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler

Do you have any contact or experiences with these?

Wow I did not know this. Have anyone tested these ADCPs?

We are now in contact with them. The price tag is very reasonable, and we hope that we can invite them to our next regatta in June.

I also was unaware of this company.  I put together these tables to give me some idea of how it compares to other ADCPs. The info comes from manufacturer’s specifications.  If I have anything wrong, please fee free to provide a correction here.  I only showed the information for the 1200 kHz.  They don’t say this explicitly but I think that the 600 kHz has a larger diameter, perhaps because the transducers are larger?
