Dell User Count

      Good Morning All,

      I attended a meeting with Dell recently to discuss the Dell FTDI driver issue and the current status of a fix. During the meeting I stressed that the issue is not impacting the USGS but other international agencies. On a previous IHG call Kristoffer mentioned needing to use older PCs to communicate with their SonTek ADCPs.

      Can I get a count of agencies/groups within IHG using Dell PCs? If possible, can I also get a rough estimate of how many Dell computers are used within each agency/group? This data should stress the importance of this issue.

          Great work Travis!

          We got about 10-15 dell rugged laptops at SMHI. I guess we use a driver that is ok, since no one has complained yet what I know.
