SonTek RS5: Hardware updates

Hi All,

Here are two hardware updates that have been added to the SonTek-RS5s this year. These are included on systems shipped since January 1, 2024:

1. IP-68 rated radio and GNSS connectors – previous connectors were IP-67

– GNSS connector is now push/pull not threaded like the previous version

2. New RS5 battery cap – longer and more ergonomic

– Longer cap to enable easier open/close with radio and GNSS cables connected

– Thumb and forefinger design for more leverage by hand – straight through hole for screwdriver if mechanical assistance is needed.
